GETTING TO CAROLS

Walking, driving or being dropped off - here's how to get to Headen Park.

WALK IF YOU CAN

If you live nearby, walk down. It's the easiest way to arrive, the streets around the park stay clearer for everyone else, and you get to enjoy the walk home afterwards - maybe wandering past some local Christmas light displays!

People gathered at an outdoor community event, smiling and talking under tents with a blue banner that says 'Thornleigh Community Baptist Church.'

PARKING

Street parking around Headen Park gets tight quickly. Two churches nearby open their car parks for the night, both only about five minutes' walk from Headen Park.

Thornleigh Community Baptist Church

Access off Duffy Avenue or The Esplanade. Plenty of room.

Northridge Vineyard Church

Access off Chilvers Road. Parking available for the evening.

DROP-OFF ZONE

If you're dropping people off before you park, there's a drop-off zone on Sinclair Avenue, out the front of Headen Park.

It runs one way, and you can only enter from the Duffy Avenue end. We’ll have traffic marshals helping to direct traffic so that we keep everyone safe!

ACCESSIBILITY

For pedestrian safety reasons, we’re unable to accommodate any parking on site at Headen Park itself. If you or someone with you has accessibility needs, please reach out via email (thornleighcarols@gmail.com) before the night and we'll do what we can to help.
